20 January 2011 The latest REACH registration of a '2010 substance' by Stewardship Solutions has successfully been completed. This was no small feat, given that the registration actually took place after the relevant 1 December 2010 deadline. The cause was the failure of a non-EU manufacturer to cover indirect export to the EU of the substance (even though the substance was in fact already REACH-registered). With the full knowledge and support of the UK REACH enforcement authorities, and working to a tight deadline, Stewardship Solutions completed the registration ahead of schedule, and below the budget originally determined with the non-EU client.  |
