As a US manufacturer, understanding REACH is a challenge; and complying with it is not possible without an EU presence. We hired Dr. Chris Eacott of Stewardship Solutions Ltd. as our OR in 2008. Dr. Eacott assisted us with an analysis of our REACH responsibilities and pre-registered substances in our products as required. We are fortunate to have Dr. Eacott working for us since he understands the intricacies of REACH, he stays up-to-date with new restrictions and interpretations, and he shares his expertise with us. We believe we are “REACH Ready” thanks to Dr. Eacott.
